1966 : S.A. CLERC MICHEL established by M. Clerc.
The company specialises in the manufacture of fuel storage tanks, for two main areas of use:

• Central heating
• Petroleum storage

Little by little, S.A. CLERC MICHEL acquired a hundred customers, largely involved in the heating and petroleum businesses.

1974 : In the face of the Oil Shock, the company came upon hard times.
The workforce was reduced from 25 to 10 people, and there was an urgent need for S.A. CLERC MICHEL to diversify.

1977 : The year of the first contacts with Peugeot, by way of a sub-contractor to the automobile industry.

1980 : CLERC MICHEL S.A. joined the P.S.A. list as a sub-contractor in the panel supply sector.
